(This service applies to units up to 2017 only). It’s important that you consider an annual service. We will perform the service at your Caravan Storage Site, Home or at a location of your choice(*).

Our “Hitch to Tail Light Service” for Caravans, is comprehensive and includes the Hitch, Brakes & Running Gear, Tyre checks and internal fixtures & fittings. It also includes Safety Checks for your Appliances, Gas & Electrical Systems. An optional Damp Test is available – on request – at no extra cost. It’s an extensive service which is fully documented, with a copy supplied to the customer.
What’s covered in a Caravan Service?
The maintenance and Safety checks included in our service are extensive, but the main categories covered are:
* The tyre check includes tyre dating. Irrespective of caravan use or mileage, it is an important recommendation that the caravan tyres are not more than 5 years old. Certainly, if over 7 years old – The statistical likelihood of a tyre failure increases dramatically. Although the tyre tread might well be within the legal limits, the composite materials age, causing the rubber to perish and crack. This can lead to serious safety issues when touring. Given the disruption to your holiday that a tyre failure could cause (let alone the risk involved), we will always make customers aware of the age and condition of the tyres. We are able to arrange caravan tyre replacement, should you require it.

Our Service Engineer, Alan, has over 35 years experience in the Caravan Service Industry. He is City & Guilds qualified and is also registered with the Caravan Industry Training Organisation (Cito). He has undergone stringent Gas Safety courses based on Approved Code Of Practice (ACOP). In other words – He really knows what he’s doing!
